RFL’s Board of Directors believes that it is essential to have the opportunity to consult with teens whom they may be able to relate to teen parenting issues. The Teen Council works along with the Board of Directors to provide policy guidance on issues from a teen’s prospective.

RFL's Teen Council Mission Statement:

The mission of the RFL Teen Council is to connect the generations of CITAS (Chica In Transition To Adulthood) and CHULOS (Chicos Helping Us Learn Ourselves) through counseling, courage, listening, learning and taking control.

RFL's Teen Council Goals:

To assist with fostering the overall mission of RFL.
To help increase the fathers participation as a parent.
To help enhance community awareness and support.
To help plan and coordinate outreach efforts to increase awareness and financial support of the program.
